Meet Connie
Connie Wall, OTD
Throughout my doctoral research and tenure as a school occupational therapist and Adjunct Professor, I have developed expertise in a wide variety of clinical interventions, using an investigative approach to determine the most effective interventions for helping each individual child. My clinical expertise, research, and publications have developed my leadership with vestibular interventions in pediatric - occupational therapy.
I am keenly interested in the impact of vestibular therapies in relation to children’s occupational performance. As a seasoned pediatric OT with over 25 years clinical experience, specialty certification in Ayres Sensory Integration, and OT doctorate, friends and colleagues look to me for professional expertise and positive leadership.
My mission is to help children and their supporting adults understand and integrate vestibular supports into their daily routine to empower children to reach beyond their potential and soar. I offer resources for teachers, therapists, parents, and related disciplines to increase knowledge and awareness to address this underserved and under-recognized deficit that impacts children’s learning and social occupations.. Supports include printed resources, vestibular manual, daily activities, speaking engagements (live or recorded), podcasts, consultation, educational workbooks, and mentorship. I am proud to be an expert in the field and love helping others understand this vital sensory system and it’s impact on learning and social occupations.
